Bruns is such a family orientated village, that the whole family can find an activity. For the oldies there's the Bruns hotel for family meals, a drink or two and music in the evenings. For parents, or single, your choice of some delightful cafe/restuarant/coffee shops. And the kids,, well, there's the river with swimming.kayaks, canoes . And the surf , patrolled in the summer months. Beach walking is also great exercise and theres a special area for dogs off leashes. Very picturesque.

Had an awesome time cruising the Brunswick River in a tinny. $100 for 4 hours was an awesome price and a great morning.

We regularly hire a couple of kayaks with friends & paddle upstream for a few hours. It’s very peaceful & relaxing with some wonderful birdlife along the way. If you are really energetic & plan your tides well you can paddle all the way to Mullumbimby & back. Even one hour on the river can be rewarding. highly recommended.

This was wonderful, the service from when we fell into our kayak at the Pirate Boat !! to when we returned Kristy was so helpful.... we will definitely be back to do it again.

Spent last Sunday on the Brunswick River for my son's 16th birthday and we all had a blast. We hired the BBQ boat and what a treat that was. The service from Brunswick Buccaneers from the first phone call to the time we dropped the boat back, was impeccable. Friendly, affordable and a great day for the whole family. It's especially not easy to entertain teenagers, so would recommend this as a day out to anyone looking for something fun to do with big and little kids of all ages, and a great day of relaxation for adults too. Really loved it, we'll be back for sure.
