Hey, thanks so much for visiting! Some of the top plants we recommend: Brahmi (brain health), Lemon balm (gorgeous tea, great for bees & just smelling it make you feel good!), Turmeric (all round immune booster), Stevia (the sugar herb), Rose geranium (tea + insect repellent), Tulsi/Holy Basil (for wellness and it smells divine!), Rosella (tea and jam and cordial). Bee well and thanks again for coming! Enjoy adding some plants to your garden.

Hi GroovyMum and thanks for your groovy review! Love it when the kids are tired out before the adults. Thank you for coming to visit, we really appreciate it. If you need some farm goodies we come down to Newcastle Farmers Market normally on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month. Bee well from all of us & hopefully see you again some time.

Oh, thank you so much for your review! Maybe it's what you said...but the carpark was full today! Yay! So glad you enjoyed yourself and thanks again for taking the time to write about your experience here. By winter time we should have some of that alpaca wool turned into scarves so if you get cold, you'll know where to come. All the best to you and yours and thanks for visiting. Anna & family & menagerie & bugs :)

Hi and thanks so much for stopping in during your time in the Manning Valley! Hopefully we can take you on the full tour if you're every in the area again. We love our creatures big and small so glad you got to meet them. All the best and thanks for giving us a review, do appreciate it.

Hi Nicola, thanks for your review! We love that you enjoyed your time with Jenny, she is an amazing wwoofer (willing worker on organic farm). Jenny and Gary have gone back to the UK now (whaaaa!) but not before they trained up a fab new bunch of volunteers, we're so lucky to have all these great people come and live and work at the farm & get involved with the animals, plants, bees, balms & visitors. Some of our new wwoofers are working at putting together a low level oBEEstacle course for the kids to do while their here (while parents enjoy the tastings & tours) so will hopefully be ready for the next holidays as another fun activity for the young ones. Thanks for the review, and hope to welcome you back again some time! All the best from our family, bugs, menagerie and wwoof team. :)

We have been having so much fun taking people out to the hives for the Beekeeper for a Morning. So glad you enjoyed! And thanks for your kindness in writing a review. Now...back to honey spinning!

Hi there, thanks for stopping in and reviewing us! Glad you enjoyed our offering but sorry you found it a bit pricey. We'd actually like to be able to offer free entry but unfortunately there are lots of costs that go into running a place like this & being able to open it to the public (but Dick Smith..if you're reading this - how about you shout everyone by making this place a sustainable living education centre! ). I suppose we based our pricing so it would be about the same as a movie ticket ($10 child, $12.50 conc, $15 adult). Most people tend to spend a good couple of hours here, but the price also includes a honey tasting and an organic herbal tea or rosella cordial (probably worth about $4 at a cafe...but here you can see where it was actually grown as well) + things you're unlikely to see on most farms (like the biggest solar oven in Australia). Anyway, we really do appreciate your support & for taking the time to review us, so thanks for coming and come again - we're always up to new things here. All the best, Anna & Andrew & family

Hi there, thanks so much for coming to visit and for taking the time to do a review - that's really kind of you and we appreciate it! If you're back this way next year be sure to stop in as the gardens should be producing some more interesting taste sensations by then...here's hoping the toothache plant has worn off! All the best and thanks again from our family & menagerie! :D

I recently took my Sister who is visiting from England and my to young kids for a trip out to the farm and wow what a welcome we recived it was like we were old friends as soon as the kids walked through the door Anna greeted them and turned them into shopkeepers which they loved, we were taken to see the beautiful horses and the other animals, my daughter loved kay the nanny goat. We were taken around the gardens by Anna which was fasinating and very informative (the toothache plant worked by the way. a lil bit strange but slept well! lol) The kids helped harvest the rossella buds and feed the chooks. The honey tasting was yum and enjoyed a lovely cup of chai tea and a rosella tea. The BeeBeeQ sauce is to die for when i run out i will be returning for more and my sister i am sure will have me sending bottles of the habanero honey the the uk. Thank-you for a wonderful morning with my wonderful family :D

Hi there Helen, it was just great welcoming your coach group for the morning! What a fun bunch and up for anything...even trying the rosella tea and chilli honey! The animals appreciated all the extra attention too! So love welcoming people to the farm and as a small farm into sustainability, your support is invaluable. Many thanks and hope to see all 60 of you back here again some time. All the best, Anna & family. Honeycomb Valley Farm.

We love that people can visit for a few hours at the tourism attraction, a few nights as farmstay guests, and a few weeks/months as wwoofers... We seriously loved having you two visit and you contributed so much to the farmgate shop, bus tours, picking and drying the native hibiscus (rosella) for the jams, teas and cordials; making balms, beekeeping, honey spinning, the farmers market, the gardens and so much more! Not to forget all the animal hugs and teaching little Cloud the alpaca to kiss. We wish you all the best for your travels and future adventures and thanks for becoming a part of the family at Honeycomb Valley Farm xox. Miss you already!
