Mum had a wine tour voucher to use, so she brought me along and we had an absolute blast. We met lovely people on the tour and we were taken to 4 vineyards that I had never been to before, as well as Pokolbin village for cheese and chocolate tasting. I would definitely do another tour with James.

I recently went on a winery tour which was provided to my workplace complimentary of james' hunter valley winery tours. I had a ball!! We went to 3 wineries.1: Lucy's Run - a small winery, which has a delicious range of wines plus home marinated olives and home made dukkah.2: Savannah Estate - the man who looked after us here was amazing. He was full of facts and stories and funny little quips. I would definitely come back! Not to mention the wine was delicious! 3: Hunter Valley Gardens - there is a little wine cellar here in the village, we did chocolate and wine matching. The people knew what they were talking about but seemed very rushed. Still enjoyable nonetheless! 4: Binnorie Dairy - I personally sat this one out as im not very adventurous when it comes to dairy. But the rest of my group seemed to enjoy themselves, they definitely spent up big! All in all it was an enjoyable day. We all went home knowing something new. Would like to thank everyone from Lucy's Run, Savannah Estate, Hunter Valley Gardens and Binnorie Diary for their hospitality and to the people from James' Huntery Valley Winery Tours i sya thank you and i hope to do business with you again soon!

Had the best day with James on the tour! He took us all around some Boutique Wineries, our favourite being Lucy's Run. We will be recommending the tour to anybody that asks!

We chose this tour purely based on the competitive price at the time. We were very happy with the tour and had loads of fun! The wineries we visited were all interesting, helpful and with lovely wine. James was very informative and his knowledge of the local area impressive.

James had a great knowledge of the region and went above and beyond to ensure all had a great day. A great mixture of wineries visited.

I've just enjoyed a most enjoyable day out with twelve other guests touring the smaller wineries in the Hunter Valley with James. The day starts with a pick up from your accommodation in the Hunter Valley and a history of wine making in the area whilst you are taken to the first winery. James checked if any of the group had visited the ones he'd selected and made adjustments accordingly. During the course of the day we tasted wines and smelly cheeses and did a very interesting chocolate and wine pairing, with a stop for lunch at our own expense.After visiting a larger winery the following day and seeing a big group arriving in a forty seat coach I was very glad I chose to travel with James in a small group.Highly recommended and I can see why his tours are so highly rated.

My husband, 1 1/2 year old son and I visited Australia in March 2012...we spent 4 weeks traveling down the coast from Brisbane to Sydney. My mom met us in Hunter Valley for a week's stay at a vineyard and encouraged us to take an outing as just a couple. We chose James' Wine Tour as our outing and visited a number of amazing wineries! James was a pleasure and we truly enjoyed ourselves. All of the vineyards were beautiful. He was even extremely accommodating with pick up and drop offs, since we were further away than he typically goes. We have 3 bottles of wine slowly aging to drink in a few years as we celebrate the memories of our Australian Bludge...we will certainly think of this great wine tour experience as well! My partner and I chose to go with James wine tours and are glad we made this decision. James had great knowledge of the region ,the wines and was friendly . We had a lovely day, I would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a good day out in the valley .

We were part of a group of 10 on this tour, yet we felt it was personalized for us. We were on a half-day tour the previous day and were leery of booking all day. James assured us he would return us to our villa at any time. However, we enjoyed the pace of the tour so much that we stayed the entire day! James was friendly and knowledgeable. James phoned in our lunch orders so that food was ready when we arrived at the restaurant. Since we are not big eaters, we were able to split a lunch salad. The wineries we visited were unique, with our last stop at Lucy's Run being our favorite!

thanks to James wine tour we had the most amazing day. could not fault a thing from pick at a remote location to the fabulous boutique wineries, a great lunch and our driver/guide was incredible. I would highly recommend them to everyone.

James was a fantastic host, knowledgeable, friendly and helpful, even looking into taxi companies etc. for us to help with our evening plans! The vineyards we visited were ones we wouldn't necessarily have found by ourselves and we arrived home really happy with our experience and purchases - we did wonder if we would be 'wined out' after 7 hours but we weren't it goes so quick - James formats the day excellently, without giving away his itinerary every stop had its own charm but the first and last stops of the day were our favourites so please pass on our thanks to those hosts James, we would be more than happy to give them great feedback too! My two friends and I did this tour two days ago. James picked us up on time and was a great host. We visited 4 wineries, all of which we got to taste different types of wine and all the owners were delightful. We were on the bus with 8 other people, who were all different ages and we all had a blast together.

I think you may have the wrong company as we are not a winery but operate minibus wine tours in the Hunter Valley. Also it is very unlikely we would have children on our tours.JamesJames' Vineyard Tours
