Really good table service and an extensive menu of cocktails. They press their own apples for a couple of the cocktails - and they are delicious! A trendy place just across from the beach. The food looked good too, even though we didn't eat there.
A funky little bar with loads of character. They make awesome Mohitos and the ribs are great. Can get busy Sunday arvo and some nights so get in pre 7. Round up a posse for a fun night.
Love this little bar in Terrigal, they make absolutely fantastic cocktails and their tapas menu is great. The bar is generally child free which is great when you are aiming to have a grown up night out!
Great meeting place with atmosphere 100%. Great view of beach from every angle of where you sit. Their is security standing outside just to make sure everything is kept in order. Good place to spend the night or as a beginner before venturing on to something else. Food good.
Wont be returning here, first night visiting the scaffy / claustrophobic pocket bar, night was ruined when caught beside an intimidating altercation amongst a few patrons. Naked pictures in toilets, quite uncomfortable to be in. Shame, as the rest of Terrigal seems lovely.
This bar is number 1 on the coast. From the perfect drinks, to the fresh tasty food, to the well trained staff everything about this place is AMAZING !!! give it a go.
Having visited multiple times, I can say that Pocket Bar is as good as a small bar as any on the coast. Great cocktails, friendly staff and surprisingly tasty food. Great spot for a late afternoon drink looking out across the water from one of the front tables and equally good late at night when the lights are dimmed and the music cranking! Give it a go!
and cool for a change too..we choose to sit outside early evening..where also told that we need to order food to sit there which was fine with us..,the place was getting very busy and we ordered our food and cocktails..both was outstanding..the floor staff very helpful and friendly..go try it out
This bar has a nice atmosphere and is on the Esplanade at Terrigal. My friend and I ordered the duck pancakes, garlic prawns with bread and french fries, the food was very good as well as the drinks. Would recommend this bar for those visiting Terrigal and it's across the street from the beach.
By far the best selection of cocktails on the Coast and wonderful food to match. Staff are friendly and very knowledgeable, our waitress was very happy to help us select cocktails we might like and she got them all right! The atmosphere is what sets this place apart from other bars on the Coast and the restrooms are worth a visit (weird I know but you will see when you get there!). I would recommend getting there early (7ish) on Friday nights before it gets busy.
I was in terrigal for a hens night on saturday night and went to pocket bar. What an amazing night we had. All the staff were amazing, the bartenders were cool and the waitresses got
We had an incredible night here! Between five girls we shared five amazing dishes (I especially recommend the pork buns and the nutella crepe). The food was a highlight (the atmosphere and drinks were great too) and we'll definitely be back for more soon.
Love, love, love this place. Its a cool place to hang out have some food and the cocktails are to die for! I had 2 margaritas on Friday night which were straight up, nothing fancy with black salt on the rim and they were delicious but 2 was more than enough for me ha ha!My hubby and I really enjoy our visits and its a great place to have drink before you go and have dinner in Terrigal (which has some great places to eat too)You won't be disappointed, but either get there early if you want a table or seat or book them in advance.Last but not least there is a real cross section of clientele which really suits us as we are in our 40's but still like to be groovy and classy which this place is :)
My wife and i visited The Pocket Bar in Terrigal last Friday night and had a great time. We were made to feel really welcome. The staff were friendly and were able to help us with food and drink choices. We ate the duck wraps, which were delicious! Also the garlic prawns and croquets which were also really good. After dinner we had a couple of cocktails. There were loads to chose from and we were really impressed. The bar is really cool and well decorated. There was loads of atmosphere and all the customers looked as if they were having a good time. It had a bit of a modern grungy industrial feel, but at the same time felt eclectic and interesting. You have to check out the walls in the bathrooms, I loved them! Reminds me of when I found dirty old magazines my grandpa had in the back of his wardrobe!! Overall I would definitely recommend this place and will go back there next time I'm in Terrigal.
Went here last night. Sat down at the bar. Nobody was purchasing drinks. The bartender at our end of the bar completely ignored us and was drunkenly making free drinks for the two girls seated next to us. I also noticed that he ignored other customers. Only when I put my whole arm up to get the attention of another bartender did we get served. And I use the term 'served' loosely here. Overall, very poor service for a place that tries to be bringing the delights of Sydney to the coast. I won't be going back.
