The volunteer staff were so helpful and knowledgable. The museum is set up with things for children to hunt for which kept them amused. It's not very big and was quite muggy warm inside. Very interesting to develop a better appreciation of Yamba.

From the old kirk church next door to the quality and well researched exhibitions. Always something to learn and run by a team of volunteers passionate about their museum is really worth the gold coin donation.

The volunteers who work here went out of their way to make our visit memorable. $3 pp for a very interesting look at the past with various displays depicting the marine side of life as well as an art section.

This museum is certainly worth a visit. Very well set out and the children really enjoyed the hour we spent here. Very interesting displays. There is a very low entrance fee to assist with maintaining this very well maintained and interesting local attraction.

The exhibitions are always interesting and well researched. The pop up café last weekend was fantastic, and to experience the culinary skills of Clayton Donovan was a real treat. Always worth a visit to this Museum.

Having visited this museum many times in the past twenty years, it was a pleasant surprise to find it expanded and even better organised as a result. Most local museums suffer from clutter - having too much to say and too many things to say it with - but this seems to have been overcome. The current display of aboriginal artworks and local aboriginal stories from younger members of that community, is a good one and presented with some verve. I just love the plentiful displays of accurately labelled photos arranged on swing out pin boards which maximise space. The volunteer staff were as pleasant as ever and the cost of entry a pittance for what is offered. I managed to pick up a nice little collection of anti-war poetry penned by a local serving officer from WWI days as a bonus to my visit.
