So heartnening to see locals and visitors alike enjoy our lovely Wetlands. Yes there has been much appreciated assistance from locals of all ages over the years. Certainly would not have been successful without the support of the local community.

Thank you so much for your kind words. The staff and volunteers from the Information Centre are extremely dedicated to their role and centre. The Jacana and Red-backed Fairly-wren are my favourite birds fortunately as they can be quite easy to see. Hopefully you'll be back again when the weather is a little more kind for bird watchers.

Thank you so much for your review. The very valid points you raised will be actioned to the appropriate staff. We have 45 volunteers at our centre and not all of them are bird watchers. Will ensure more birding knowledge is passed on to those in need. We're quite excited as the cafe will reopen in a few weeks with new lesees.

I'm glad it didn't ruin your visit.Regarding the bird hides, unfortunately the previous poster seemed a little confused as the images and comments posted regarding the bird hides were not actually Tyto Wetlands. I'm attempting to get the incorrect information addressed.
