kingaroy art gallery

The art gallery attached to the information centre has 5 different gallery areas with different exhibitions. We were lucky enough to be there while the high school kids art was on display. Some very talented young folk have their work on display. The art gallery is housed in the old Kingaroy Council chambers so the building is well worth a look as well.

Love there range - largest in South Burnett of local products - hams, chutneys, body creams, wood craft, handy craft items, pottery, peanuts of course. Just love the relaxed shopping but also the art gallery with local art exhibitions is just there to browse through, the museums and even catch up with the local wood rafters on site

Dropped in to get some local info and ended up have a chat with the staff and volunteers for a while , the where friendly , helpful and had some great yarns about things around the region,,, suppose good old fashion country people,, worth a stop in

Gold coin donation for entrance, must be run by volunteers. Shows history of sugar cane farming in Queensland and history of area in gemeral.

Free entry and friendly people - loved the range of local products, jams, craft, spreads, nuts, body creams - largest range of locally produced items. Plus the local art gallery and museum and outdoor area to just stop and relax. Well done guys
