The stunning architecture of the Visitor Information Centre is worth stopping for! Loads of info available and very friendly and helpful staff.

We were interested in doing a family trail ride, and the lady at the desk was able to inform us on all the local operators, and she looked up their prices and timetables for us on the spot. She would have made the booking too, but was happy to supply us with all the contact details when we said we needed to check our schedule first. This is the level of friendly helpfulness other service operators should aspire to.

have been to Mansfield and number of times and this was my first visit to the information center so how exciting to find NEW things to do - like the Ned Kelly trail. This place is not only an information center with friendly, professional and knowledgeable staff. There are maps and brochures for the local and wider area too. I also LOVE the fact that it is a gallery for local art and there is a stunning outdoor installation including a sound installation which transports you to different times or parts of the region. Go and say hello and see the art.

There is a felted mural made by women of Mansfield. A very large display. It is a fabulous piece of artwork and details the history of the area. Really not to be missed. There are also the usual guides, brochures, maps, etc in the Centre.

The Mansfield Visitor Information Centre can assist you in so many attractions, not only within the Mansfield area, but also Mount Buller as this makes the perfect base close to some of the rugged mountains in the area.The lady at the centre is very helpful in regards to the many things to see and do.Some of them being, fishing, bush-walking, horse-riding, the zoo, biking and so much more.We are always amazed in the local knowledge provided at ANY, visitor centre.No matter how much research you do, there is always more to find out!Make the Visitor Centres, your first stop, at all locations.
