underwater explorer

Went to Geelong to spent New Years Eve and as we walked past the Carousel, we saw the Underwater Explorer, which was based at Geelong. They had a cruise from 7.30pm-9.30pm. The crew were extremely friendly. We went to the StingRay Bay, and the boat has a large underwater viewing section, which my children adored. We did get to see some stingrays, starfish and other small fish. The highlight though was coming back into Geelong at night, and watching the family fireworks at 9.30pm from the sea. A wonderful experience, will definitely recommend to others. Thanks for a great night!

Took this 2 & 1/2hr cruise Jan 2014, had only been running a few weeks then. We found them to be well organized, knowledgeable and friendly and did all they could to ensure you had a good time..viewing from the belly of the boat is a novel idea, our kids loved this, especially when they anchored and sent a diver under and around the boat with his camera.. of course sealife is unpredictable, so we didn't see that much..we did stop at the Seal platform & Popes eye, which was great. All in all, worthwhile, just a bit expensive.
