A disappointing experience for lunch. The waiter was not friendly or helpful. The food was tasty, however the Gluten Free meal was presented containing wheat croutons. A side salad was ordered and didn't arrive. It was charged to the bill, however refunded when brought to the staff's attention. We simply expected better.
It's great to see a microbrewery like this in Mildura. Beer was fantastic and staff accommodated our two kids, aged 2 and 4 at a table with pencils and a table mat to colour in. Would have loved to stay for dinner.
We had a very token visit. Arrived and asked for the beer tasting plate. It was poured put in front of us with some notes and then we were left to it. We weren't even told what the two seasonal beer were. No information given no interest shown to us. Though the place looks nice service was poor, beers were ok we liked two of them but no one asked us so didn't bother buying more. We had planned to eat there but again they couldn't be bothered with us so we didn't bother either.
Have been to Mildura a few times and always stop in for a few beers at the Mildura Brewery. There is a nice variety of beers that are produced at the Brewery and they do guided tours if you want to see the production line. I am more interested in the final product, especially the Mallee Bull which is described as a "strong ale" (5.6% alcohol volume) Take a time to read the history of the building and this will assit with understanding why they called their latest beer "Astor Ale"They also sell take aways. It is difficult to buy take aways of the Mallee Bull other than at the brewery in Mildura. I would thave thought that the local pubs would have this beer available on the shelf but they dont for some reasonHavent eaten at the brewery so cant comment on the food.
Situated in the old grand hotel the Mildure Brewery has indoor and outdoor seating . You can try all of the locally made beers with one of their tasting trays to find your favourite drop.
the chicken for two was very good, mash just right and the wilted vegetables and roasted were very nice, I liked the way the platter was served on a stand it made more room on the table The Honey wheat beer was nearly good. The service from our lovely irish waitress was faultless and the surroundings could make melbourne restaurants look like poor relations.
Dear Reviewer,it is always a disappointment to us when a customer leaves unsatisfied or with the memory of a negative experience. We seek to serve our diners tasty, quality, affordable, and generous food accompanied by craft beer, simple, inexpensive wines and other beverages. That we were not able to fulfill this mission for you is unfortunate.Had you mentioned your dissatisfactions on the night we would have done our utmost to rectify them. For your benefit, let me please point out that all of our food is prepared in-house and that we do not serve any of our pasta sauces from a bottle. Stefano de PIeri, the co-owner and the chef of the Mildura Brewery is the recipient of multiple industry awards for his food and his hospitality experience. We reiterate that your experience is certainly an aberration and that we would do our utmost to rectify it if we were given the oppportunity.Sincerely,Donata Carrazza

Have visited the Brewery before and love the beer - we tried a few of the range and no complaints there - always good to drink the local brew !! A cold ale does tend to whet the appetite and there were a few free tables so it must be Parma time. We both had the Parma - not a really big one but delicious all the same and a little bowl of chips to go with it. HOWEVER that was it, and I have to say it looked a little beige without some colour on the plate. When I mentioned that to our very friendly waiter was told he could add a garden salad - no cigar - at $29 I would have expected a box full. Don't get me wrong - its all about the Parma but it should have looked nice too. That aside, the table next to us were having the lamb shoulder and that looked awesome. Will be back !
Nice open room and a few nice beer but otherwise just an expensive place to eat.Had 2 plates of rather ordinary roast and a couple of standard drinks and it was over $120 .Soup at $16 a bowl is what you would expect at a fancy resturant...... and this isnt !
Really great spot . Try the range of beers brewed on the spot , Live music on Sundays and great food . Surroundings very tasteful . Highly recommend . Was an old cinema but is now great open space with windows that open completely in summer. Its on what the locals call eat street but is actually Langtree avenue. Food is cooked by co-owner Stephano Di Pieri whose multi award winning upmarket restaurant is close by .Great vibe.
We were greeted and shown our table. Menu was fine and after ordering and receiving our drinks we waited and waited for food to be delivered and finally it came..........minus the shared starter. It was not busy but it seemed to be understaffed. The food itself was delicious.
I wanted to eat at the pub having tasted other dishes by Stefano in the past. Ambience in the dining area was nice and very comfortable but that's about as good as it gets. My father and I were greeted at the door by a rather smug gentleman and shown to our table. After looking at the menu, I decided the lime prawn dish sounded good. Boy was I mistaken! Tiny little shrimp with heads, tails and shell still on. Decided to give it a go - not good. Extremely salty, so put more lime juice on. Nope, still hated it. Complained to Mr Snooty where I get told "you eat them whole". Absolutely hated it and asked it to be taken away. Ordered a chicken salad instead. Not too bad but expensive for what it was. Final straw came when I ended up having to pay for the detested prawns!
Nice ambience, friendly staff and complimentary pop corn. Enjoyed a pre-dinner drink from the brewery selection. Have previously had a tasting tray which was great value & experience.
Food ok, but drinks are very pricey. Glass of wine or should I say a 1/4 glass of wine not even filled to the line on the glass was $8.00 ea. Not a lot of seating and we asked to move as someone wanted to sit down to eat! So we moved to another establishment.
