It was nice to see but would not go out of my way to check it out. I can say I saw it but once I was there didn't really want to deal with the hassle of parking.

If your breakfast started after 10 a.m., Reñaca is the perfect spot for a late-afternoon lunch break. There are plenty of restaurants lining the beach promenade and another handful of options in the area, ranging from sushi to pizza. You may need to wear a scarf for the evening seabreeze.

The beach was beautiful and there is plenty of room to station your things at even when it is packed. The water is rough and a bit cold but understandable considering it is the pacific coast. There are plenty of people on the beach selling fresh fruit, drinks and typical Chilean snacks but they don't bother you. There are also other merchants that sell hair accessories and jewelry that offer but don't bother you either. There are plenty of snack bars closeby as well, so you don't need to go far for anything you need. Parking and beach chairs are very inexpensive compares to Europe ($7/day for the chair and $6-$8 for parking with security). There is also a bathroom at every sector that is supplied with paper, indoor plumbing, and kept relatively clean for $0.75/use. Overall I very much enjoyed Renaca beach and would recommend it as the best one near Vina del Mar and Valparaiso,

The renaca beach is quite fancy and you can find a variety of bars and restaurants around. It is worth a visit!

A very beautiful beach and crowded. We had difficult to park our car. The water temperature is very low, you can't stand to much time inside the water.

Beautiful coastal town...lovely to walk around and great food and local places...the water is way too cold for me, so I rarely went to the beach but did walk around and it was wonderful every time when the weather was nice...

Lovely sandy beach and cold water was perfect for a Tuesday afternoon. Take any micro to Reñaca from Plaza de Armas, very quiet spot for reading, relaxing and sitting around. Lots of nice areas to eat and drink.

Nice beach and good sushi near by our hostel. We stayed at renana beach hostel. Great views and friendly staff.

Beautiful beach very close to Viña del Mar, easy to get by bus or car. It isn't a Caribbean beach, the water is cold, but very beautiful and relaxing. The views are amazing, and it's great to just sit on the sand. There are lots of restaurants close by, but I recommend eating 'empanadas'.

Reñaca has a small downtown, where there is not much to do in there. The beaches are nice even though the water is so cold, you cannot stay more than half an hour because you start to feel your legs freezing. The nightclubs are far away from Reñaca.

WOW, pretty nice uncrowded beach, located very close to Vina. Good parking, several resturants within walking distance, several cheap hotels also.

I was quite disappointed with the city, and this seaside is no different -- lots of homeless dogs, garbage everywhere. Definitely not the worse in town, but can't recommend.

We were here one afternoon with some chilean friends, it was explained to us that rich chileans come and buy apartments as weekend places to have to get out of santiago, great place very clean and a couple of med-to-expensive restaurant around. Nice seagulls around and pelicans can be viewed on the beach.

If you like to wander around small tourist towns and visit tourist market stalls, MacDonalds, Burger King and the like then this is the place for you. It does have a nice beach though.

The water here is cold, and many areas are no swimming beaches because of the undertow, but you can walk for miles on the promenade and enjoy the beach activity and atmosphere. The wind can be a bit cool, so bring a light sweater.
