The staff here were so friendly and helpful. The visitor centre itself is an impressive facility, sitting in quite a remote and scenic location just past the Hengifoss waterfall walk car park, it is well worth a visit. Lots of interesting information about the geology and ecology of the park. We particularly enjoyed the reindeer migration exhibit!

I found this very interesting. The people manning this centre were eager to give information about the area and the wild Life therein and answer questions. There is a film showing how different forms of life survive through the year and boards describing the life of various plants, birds, animals and insects.A very good centre, well worth a visit for those wishing to understand this area better

I went to Snæfellsstofa and loved it! the staff was very friendly and showed us around, they told the kids a lot about nature and gave them a postcard, the kids could run all around and touch everything, we enjoyed that as much as them! I bought myself a Icelandic design scarf and there were products there all from Iceland, i loved it!

This is a rather decent visitor center, with quite a lot of information about the park.It focuses mainly on geology, but there's also references to glaciers and animals.Of course, no visitor center would be complete without a shop. and this also offers a lovely (yet utterly expensive) shop.Recommended before/after your visit in the park.

I have visited this center few times and I always find this very interesting and new things that I spot every time I go there.You can learn about wildlife and geology of Snaefell area and suroundings volcanos, glaciers now and present how the are has changed trhough the centurys.Very interesting and upligthning.
