很一般的一个大池子,当地引以为荣的温泉,但是设施比较老旧了,也缺乏维护和更新。泡澡的感觉很一般。老年人很多,据说对风湿和一些皮肤病有效果的,不知道。
In the winter the little Heviz airport is closed so there are much less tourists. At the end of February, it may be 0-10 degrees outside but the lake is at 26-28 outside and 36 at least inside. There are ramps inside the lake to rest if you do not have floating devices.Coming in during the last 2 hours (15h-17h) gets you the best entry ticket at only 1,600 forints. It is also when the sun gets low and it makes the nicest photos. No need to take the sauna world if your hotel provides it (we stayed at the Lotus which has sauna and hamam).Without an entry ticket you may use the Festetics day spa (south entrance, further from the city center than the main entrance) offering massages, manicures and pedicures.
If you are staying in Heviz, to visit the lake is an absolute must. Do not swim in the water, get one of those styrofoam rings sold everywhere in town and just float... And in no time you will hear the gentle sounds of ruffling water. Enjoy!
You can swimming outside in the nature lake in the water of 26c when the air temperature it is -3 or less..
Quiet natural hot spring lake, I guess the only in Hungary. Nice to enjoy it in autumn, when the foggy clouds go up and down....Take your private bathrobe, could be cold after. Nice and tasty food everywhere in Hungary!
Although the lake and the buildings look good and have an interesting structure, I'm not sure I would recommend the bath to anyone, at least not in the winter. The water (inside) was almost cold, that's OK I suppose, but in the building it was cold as well. Several windows were open (it was 0 C), and could not be closed. We saw staff trying to close one, I don't know whether they succeeded or not. We had bathrobes and packed our feet in towels and drank tea but had to leave after 3 hours although we paid for 4. And all the time it was a strong smell everywhere from baked fish... The metal structure and the hand rails in the water are kind of disgusting, full of moss and sticky. Im not at all surprised that german guests seem to have disappeared from here; that's exactly what I'm going to do as well. :)
A world class thermal bath located near to Lake Balaton. If you have not been here before and you have a chance, it is a must to visit place. This time the lake was a bit cold for swimming (1st of January) and also indoors was a bit too cold in the water and also in the building. The Sauna was full so we had no chance to try it. The infrastructure should be improved to meet the demands of visitors. Alltogeteher positive impressions but improvement needed.
I travelled to Hungary planning to visit a spa and I did so in Heviz. The infrastructure is good in general assures you can come here all year round and the sauna part is very good, worth paying the most expensive ticket. The pillars and metal parts of the structure, though, are not well looked after, with moss and dirt and there was even a dead fish on the water.
The healing waters of this resort are worth every penny you spend to get here. We felt amazing after a 5 hour family pass, ate lunch, took a nap and would recommend to anyone.
The lake was wonderful but the wellnes is poor and small for this compleks. The staff is o.k .............................................
I been there already twice. Coming back almost every year. I been there in the beginning of December and it great feeling to swim in such a warm water and around you are water lilies so beautiful!!! For the entrance you it is not expensive at all and there are lockers for your stuff to lock in and even security box so you do not have to be worried about your belongings. Once you go in you can go even for the massage or other treatments they offering. Water is so great for healing all the kind of joint problems etc. It is just good for adults not for kids, the lake is very deep and there is nothing around for kids. But as I said I will go there again. Love this place!!
It was a delight to swim outdoors in the middle of November, and to watch the sun go down behind the trees. After that, we moved indoors where the air temperature, like the water, was still warm. It was an excellent place to bask in the healing waters while chatting amongst ourselves. The facilities were good, with secure lockers to put our belongings in and nice hot showers.
lots of healing mud, good for arthrities, sea roses in the lake swimm with you. inexpensive entry. no problems at all.
It is worth to test once, but no reason to come back again. At the end of October 2014 it was nice to swim outside in the warm water. There are no interesting facilities for children.
If you are for the first time, do not hope that somebody will care of you. The check in part reminded me the supermarket cash desk. No explanations - just pay & go.1) when you get the bracelet you have to check on the screens what is your locker number;2) during autumn the water will not seem so warm therefore it is nice to take sauna before. You have to pay extra for that. Please note that children under 12 are not allowed in sauna due to the fact that some people are naked there;3) if you are going to use a nice sauna world, then you do not have to go though the main entrance because sauna part is located quite far. There are two locations where you can have lockers. There are less people in the early morning even it seems there are a lot around the time of opening. All inside center circle start to smell like a grilled chicken place around the midday. Even despite these small things you have to know before, it is definitely worth to spend a day or two there.
