more space but on week ends there will be plenty of locals. nothing special but could do for a change
The most beautiful and long beach of Limassol. Drop the car in the beginning of it, and enjoy the long walk on the beach. It is so peaceful! A place where your brain relaxes
We followed the signs to this beach in a hire car. Fibally the road ran-out and we had a choice of turn and go back the way we came, or drive across a huge puddle with no idea how deep it was. We turned back and rechecked the signs and we had gone the right way. So gave it up as a bad job.
Nothing beats this long beach. Right beside the salt lake, even in winter it remains a great spot for a walk.
We absolutely love taking our children to this beach, it's only about 10 minutes from our house, the water is really shallow which is well suited for our young children. During the summer they have inflatables and slides and our children just love coming here, the water is warm and clear, roll on next season
Nothing beats this long beach. Right beside the salt lake, even in winter it remains a great spot for a walk. I always go there for sea shells.
The beach was crowded and hardly found chairs. The road that leads to Lady Mile Beach was un paved. However the restaurant there was nice (Captain's Cabin) as well as the playground.
Lady's mile is a very long sandy beach to the west of Limassol and within striking distance of My Mall, where some serious shopping can take place. It has shallow waters and relatively low waves which make it almost like a paddling pool at the beginning. Ideal for children and families. There are a number of restaurants and beach bars that get quite lively in the evening but also cater for the families during the day. Very relaxing and a nice day out for all.
Great fun and close to the sea shore. Rough as hell on the sand /mud roads, but exciting. In the summer it is probably a great day out but we went in December which was a trifle bracing.
Lady’s Mile beach Limassol, is the place with shallow water and veeeryyyy loooong beach!!! Could we wish for more? Of course when you have kids you always need more!! And there are places ready to welcome you with everything! If you are one of those people who enjoy waking up early in the morning -like my family- (9 o’clock in the morning to reach the beach) you will be among the happiest and luckiest -for a great spot in the sun and i mean front row!!! There are also lots of inflatable toys for the young ones to climb, to jump and to spend energy. All free of charge!! A clean beach with shallow waters (no huge waves) and tons of sand... so do not forget your sand toys!! Sundays and Saturdays can be very crowded though, but we do still enjoy it!
A beautifully quiet stretch of beach for those seeking peace and quiet. A few restaurants dotted along the way. The sand road is a bit potholed in places.
Remote / quiet/ Beach away from the noise and the polution . Just a few kilometres from Limassol Town .
The beach at Ladies Mile stretches a long way with soft sand and shallow water which is ideal for children. Plenty of restaurants, some of which have water features to keep the kids occupied, and safe. Access to the beach is via the back of the port, and a bit industrial. The gravel road is very rough, but persevere. The further you go, the better the beach. Great views of Akrotiri bay and Limassol. You may even see flamingo and pelican.
A long strip of dark sand running along the whole beach. We visited in Nov to eat at the Captain's cabin. We arrived on the last day before they closed for the winter (closed from mid Nov to Feb). They sold our party of four a beautiful sea bass with fabulous olive oil and lemon dressing. We talked about that fish for the whole holiday
I love the CLEAR blue sea here and go on the right day, its nice and quiet, and now it is so near the shopping mall it is more of a pleasant trip
