I agree with the other review that this trip mainly caters for a younger crowd, which I was completely unaware of until they all piled on the boat. This was obviously a bit of a shock at first and I automatically assumed the day was going to be ruined but to my surprise it wasn't! I think mainly because I had been on a 12-hour boat trip on another island that ended up being a complete disaster due to horrendous weather that in comparison this didn't seem so bad. Yes the 18-20 something's were loud and intoxicated but I chose to ignore them and enjoy my day and what a day it was. The beauty of Paros/Antiparos and their surroundings are truly break-taking and one of the great moments for me was stopping at the sea caves for a swim but the highlight of the trip was stopping at Despotiko Island, which is uninhabited. The captain and his crew prepare lunch for you (BBQ on the beach), you are provided with soft drinks and wine and some free time to do as you please before lunch is ready. While the younger crowd stayed by the boat, playing games and getting drunk I had the opportunity to wonder around the island and take in its beauty completely on my own, a truly magical experience that I will never forget. I would only recommend this particular boat trip to anyone who is looking for an atmosphere with a younger crowd but I would highly recommend a boat trip in general to anyone who visits Paros/Antiparos as it will be an unforgettable experience.

We booked with Oliaris tours on Anti Paros. We preferred this boat as the Bens boat seemed rather large and noisy. This was run by two older Greek chaps and was a lot of fun. It was apparent that a French group had booked this tour and we were the only English couple aboard, but that was fine. It was a great day with a lovely barbecue on a beach. A chance for snorkeling and swimming or sunbathing if you wished. I would say this was the best trip if you want it quieter

We went on the boat trip. It could have been lovely but there was one MAJOR negative about the experience. M/S Alexandros has a regular (I believe daily) block booking from Busabout Tours which caters for 18-25 year old Australians/Kiwis. On the day we went, there were 35 people from the Busabout tour who joined the boat when it pulled in to Paros. Whilst they were (generally) pleasant young people, I felt like I was on a high school excursion without the benefit of teacher supervision. When we booked, we were not given any indication that the vast majority of people on the boat were from an 18-25 holiday. There was a sound system on the boat and the skipper was happy to had over the music selection to the passengers which meant that we had to endure terrible music (eg Example, miscellaneous rap ("cr*p with a silent C"). Many of the fellow passengers drank too much and were staggering around the boat. Many were also very loud and oblivious to the impact they were having on those around them. The scenery was beautiful. The staff on the boat were nice. They served a simple but nice BBQ meal on Despotiko beach. The ship is beautiful and provides some great material for photography, especially when it pulls in to Despotiko for lunch. We did a second boat trip a few days later, this time with Captain Ben's boat trip which was calm, relaxed, played gentle Greek music, had better food and was more efficiently organised. I also have more confidence in Captain Ben's attention to safety. Little things like taking a record of the names & nationalities of those on board whereas there is no way Alexandros Boat trip would have had a clue who was on board. I also felt that Alexandros boat was overcrowded. Both Captain Ben's and M/S Alexandros cost 40euros including drinks and lunch. My advice, choose Captain Ben's.
