big al's beach bar

Hey guys thanks for your review, sorry we didn't live up to your expectations.I've taken on board your feedback and will try my best to improve. I would hate for folk who pay good money to leave thinking Big Al's is average..... I hope you'll give us another chance if you find yourselves back in Kalamaki again :)

Thank you Al and Olly- I have finally got around to writing this review.. Sorry it's late :D So to any would be visitors to zante/faliraki, if u don't pay a visit to Al's bar you will miss out. We had a miserable rainy holiday and stumbled upon Al's whilst out for a walk- needless to say our quiet walk ended in raucous laughter, ridiculous drinking games and lots of great memories! I wish we had found them sooner. Amazing bar with awesome home made decor and the most down to earth, lovely people you will ever meet :) they are quite mad, of course, but all the best people are.

Visited big al's with my friend on holiday, and i have to say we loved the place. Cocktails are lush, the swing seat at bar i enjoyed, and wot can i say about big al.....big personality, big heart. Defo goin back x

Tucked away in the old, and significantly better, part of town this bar is totally unique. Really nicely decorated as a beach setting, it's a fun place to have a few drinks. The swing bar seats were a particular highlight as indeed was the welcoming atmosphere provided by Al and his team. Thanks for a great night

We went to Big Als a few times during our stay in Kalamaki. If it was up to my two young daughters we would have gone there every night, they kept on going on about the place! Al and his staff were very accommodating and made us feel instantly welcome. The bar itself is situated in the old road which for us was the best area. It has a couple of unique little features such as a couple of swings by the bar and a small sand area which our girls loved. We had some fantastic nights here and will miss it a great deal. Thanks Al for a wonderful time!

Love this bar, quirky and relaxing with great cocktails. Big Al and his gang go out of their way to make everyone's night. Enjoyed it so much made 3 trips from Argassi.

Big Al and the gang are amazing, such a quirky place packed full of fun, our only regret is that we didn't discover it earlier in our holiday. Our kids loved getting their cocktails served in watermelons and our mojitos were the best in kalamaki!!

We had a wounderful time at Big Al's beachbar. Excellent staff, so funny and social place to have drinks and fun. Great value for your money! You have to visit this place!!

Place to be for banter good drinks,good prices.great staff so friendly they go out of their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable.it's a very unique bar not like any other bar in kalamaki.if you come to kalamaki this is a must bar :) #love big als

Visited big Al's and was very impressed. Cocktails were the best I have had abroad and even had free cocktails for kids.Great atmosphere.Well worth a visit

We just returned from a lovely 2 week holiday in Kalamaki, we were lucky enough to find Big Al's beach bar, we had the most amazing time with Big Al and the rest of the team, they ensured we had a amazing time and were always made to feel so welcome, the kids were well looked after and activities were always available to keep them entertained, painting, swing ball, face painting. The drinks are reasonably priced. We wil definitely be back to visit again, we have make great friends in Big Al's

Was in Kalamaki few weeks ago, spent majority of my evenings at big ALS. If you want to have a laugh and enjoy the islands best cocktails go it's the first choice I would recommend

Do You wanna have fun in Zante? Go To Big Al's Beach bar in Kalamaki! This is the only pub in Kalamaki where you can drink laugh and have very funny nights! What makes this place so good is the staff that works here: They are Amazing! Ask for Big Al's mistery shot!
