I was not expecting to find a Native American Museum in Gemany!On the day I visited, they happened to have a Native American guest speaker talking with a group of kids. Awesome!If you're in the Heilbronn or Pforzheim areas, it's worth the short drive.Check out their hours and planned events at: http://www.indianermuseum-bretten.de/If they check this, I'd recommend having an English option on their website to include Americans living in the region.The entrance fee of 6 Euros is a bit high, but it also includes admission to the Naval Museum. This floor contains artifiacts and info on German and American navies, from the US CIvil War to World War II.

Das Indianermuseum Bretten ist wirklich eine sehenswerte Ausstellung mit einer beeindruckenden Sammlung an Exponaten, nicht nur aus verschiedenen Kulturbereichen der Native Americans, sondern auch von Soldaten, Trappern und Siedlern. Hinzu kommt ein umfassendes Wissen in vielen Survivaltechniken des Kurators, das dieser auch sachkundigt anpreist. Besonders am Sonntag ist die Ausstellung gut besucht und die Besucher erfahren viele Hintergrundinformationen, wie der Kurator zu den Ausstellungsstücken gekommen ist.Manchmal erzählt der Kurator mehr von sich als von den Ausstellungsstücken ...aber dezente Fragen führen ihn wieder auf "Spur"
