schloss favorite

We went there recently with two small children. We had a great time visiting the beautiful Schloss. The gardens are great.. the kids ran around had enjoyed it. We also stopped at the restaurant for a quick lunch.. very enjoyable. The only drawback was most signs and tour was in German, but we made out OK, having a german speaking relative with us.

An Ok castle to visit, but only of you have time. There is only one bus every hour, and the same coming back down. Its on top of a hill and there's nothing else in the vicinity, so... The cafe doesn't open till late and even if the house is open from 10, the first tour is only at 10.30, so you will be kicking your heels a lot here!

When the German speakers in the group were correcting the tour leader, and the typical flyer had about 5 minutes of information for a 55 minute tour it gets a little tedious. Be sure to try to arrange an English (or whatever your home language) tour as my limited German could not keep up.

We went here because of the Meissen (Dresden china) collection. Unfortately it was not included on the tour, although the online brochure boasts of the collection but doesn't mention that the porcelain is not on the regular tour. We were a group of six with me as the only German speaker, but the guide spoke reasonable English and was helpful in answering out questions. The gardens are lovely and perhaps more popular with locals (plenty of strollers, etc) than the palace itself. Allow 90 minutes or so.

What I liked most of Schloss favorite was the grounds where the castle is located

Passeio para ser feito em um dia ensolarado, para poder aproveitar os jardins do castelo. Não entrei, mas visita do lado de fora é imperdível.

Il faut y aller pour passer un très bel après-midi, beau site pour la Promenade, Château Baroque à visiter, jardins anglais, prendre également un Café et déguster les douceurs dans l'ancien bâtiment historique, Maison des Cavaliers, transformée en pâtisserie, le Baroque rencontre la modernité, voir Schlosscafé Favorite. Je recommande ce site absolument.

Επισκεφτήκαμε το κάστρο διανύοντας μια διαδρομή με ποδήλατο από το Rastatt. Με δεδομένο το εξαιρετικής κατάστασης μονοπάτι από την πόλη μέχρι το κάστρο, ειδικό για περίπατο και ποδηλασία, η βόλτα ήταν ευχάριστη και αναζωογονητική. Το κάστρο είναι σε μία πολύ ρομαντική τοποθεσία με καταπράσινο πάρκο να καλύπτει όλη τη γύρω περιοχή και το ίδιο το κτίσμα ήταν ιδιαίτερης αρχιτεκτονικής και πολύ εντυπωσιακό. Η τοποθεσία διαθέτει επίσης καφέ-εστιατόριο για ξεκούραση, γεγονός ιδιαίτερα βολικό. Αξίζει κανείς να το επισκεφτεί, ακόμα και για μια βόλτα στον καταπράσινο κήπο.

Visite guidée en Allemand ou en Anglais, Une des guides parle le Français, et là c'est le top ! Demander une brochure en français pour suivre la visite.La visite du chateau offre un ensemble caractérisé par l'engouement pour l'extreme orient à l'époque de Louis XIV.La Margrave a décoré avec un goût extraordinaire son chateau favori. L'ensemble est richement chargé et a été vanté comme joyau de légende. Laissez vous surprendre et imaginez vous que ......

Ravissant édifice baroque avec ses murs recouverts d'un crépi à base de gravillons et de petits cailloux qui s'élève dans un joli parc paysagé à l'anglaise. L'intérieur est particulièrement intéressant avec un cabinet de glaces et une luxueuse cuisine révélant une collection de faïences remarquables.

Tout est dans le titre. Il y a une collection de légumes en porcelaine qui m'a fait pleurer de rire. Si vous avez 1 heure à perdre...

Belle surprise que ce château avec son parc! le tout est très bien entretenue, et il y règne une atmosphère paisible. la visite guidée permets de mieux connaitre l'histoire du lieu.

Eine sehr schöne Ausstellung und sehr schöne Räumlichkeiten.Auch der Park hat einiges zu bieten, Alte Bäume, ein schönen See und allerlei Tiere.

Schloss Favortie ist traumhaft, in dieser Art wirklich einmalig !!!! Schloss Favorite in der Nähe von Rastatt ist das älteste und einzige nahezu unverändert erhalten gebliebene deutsche „Porzellanschloss“. Seine Ausstattung, seine reichhaltigen Sammlungen und seine idyllische Lage in einem wundervollen Park machen es zu einem Gesamtkunstwerk von europäischer Bedeutung.Führungen durch das Schlß sind kostenpflichtig, die wunderschöne Parkanlage kann ohne Eintritt besichtigt werden. Meine Tipp wäre den Park auch an einem schönen Wintertag zu besuchen.

Visité el sitio durante el verano 2013 y es bastante tranquilo, con bellos arboles que rodean el construccion. Es un sitio rodeado de bellos jardines y para pasar una tarde tranquila. La construccion es muy interesante y la han conservado muy bien. Se puede visitar con la familia y amigos.
