The Neubausaal is an enormous medieval building that dominates the skyline of Schwaebisch Hall. With it's massive old stone walls and huge, steeply sloping roof, one cannot fail to notice and be impressed by it's presence. A personal favourite, it is the one building above all others here that alludes to the great economic importance enjoyed by this place in olden times. Only a seriously wealthy and industrious community could afford to build such a large structure. Nowadays it is used for functions and other events and sits timelessly overlooking the old town.
