its a nice collection for sure.. I heard that they are going to build a new one.. and it really needs it.. not the most glamorous surroundings..
We took a stroll around & stumbled across the car collection, but very pleased we did, although a fairly small building, the cars were a mixture of years from 1800 to F1 cars
As a formula one and car fan this is something you must visit. A variety of different and exclusive cars in this collection. It is not a big museum but the various cars were great to see. From F1 cars to rally cars. Also some cars of the beginning of the 19th century. Great to see this collection!
I'm personally not big on cars at all, but it was cool to see all the different cars owned by Prince Rainier and seeing how automobiles evolved over time. It only took about an hour to see everything.
If you have any interest in design, F! or the family car this is a worthwhile stroll. You will learn something even f just how much the car has meant to this family.
we all enjoyed looking at this fantastic collection of cars and a Douglas motorcycle. beautiful views outside the museum of a lovely harbour.
Very impressive personal collection ! Well worth a visit even if you are not into cars, just to understand the wealth of the Rainier family!
Apparently being a prince has its privileges! :-) A fantastic collection; a must-see for any car fans and worth a visit for anyone.
Reasonably priced entrance fee E7 for such a large showroom. Lots of car of all ages and types from horse and cart to race car. More seating is required for the ladies to allow the men to really take their time and perhaps a coffee shop could be located inside (there is enough space)
What a great collection of old cars from Morris Minors to Jags and Formula One Racing cars to Arctic vehicles. I particularly enjoyed the fire engine - ok I am not a great car enthusiast but enjoyed my visit all the same.
Me and my wife went to have a look and there are manyCars to look at from old 1950s cars formula 1 cars even theWife liked this to my shock
The car museum is well worth a visit if you like cars. I'm not a car buff, but thoroughly enjoyed looking at all the old Cars in the museum. My favourite was the one in the film with Grace Kelly and Cary Grant. Lots of formula 1 cars on show too.
Nice collection of cars in a modern building within a shopping area and walking distance from seafront.
Lots of cars to see, shame about the smell of cellulose when we were in there, but I suppose they were doing maintenance before the season. Otherwise it was lovely, the cars are in immaculate condition and even included a Morrris Minor!
I really couldn't give a toss about cars in general, however, I liked this collection as it ranged from Formula 1 to vintage to prestige and everything in-between. The building is basic - no glamour in the decor here - but the cars are very impressive. What I liked the most is that there are details about each and every car including the price which makes it all very interesting. With the HopOn/Hop On bus ticket discount at only 5Euro pp, it is definitely worth a look.
