Around 700 meters long walk, at some places 85 meters below the surface. Mining methods from the 1700's, 1800's and 1900's could be learnt. The two of us were the only foreigners in the group but the guide was so enthusiastic that she repeated everything for us in English as well. Congratulations!

Just 1,5 km from the main square (going up very steep hill) you find the gold mine museum. The tour will take you back in history learning what methods and "technologies" were used in mines hundreds years ago. Kids love the helmets with built in torches and the rubber coats that are part of the atmosphere. You will see real gold vein, small trains for transporting people and ore underground. In winter there is a bonus of stalagmites and stalactites icicles in the entry tunnel. Spend few days in this lovely historic town to discover other hidden treasures.

You can visit a part of the mine where the gold and the silver were taken. During one hour visit inside the mine you can see parts dedicated to different periods of gold mining (wearing overals, helmets with lamp) and you can also recognize what is an absolute dark when all the lights will be turned off for several minutes (the old miners knows how to move inside the mine in the dark - to save lightning fat in the lamp).

Kopalnia znajduje się na obrzeżach Kremnicy, około 30min spacerem pod górę z centrum. Każdy zwiedzający dostaje kurtkę oraz kask z latarką, zwiedza się z przewodnikiem.Zwiedzanie trwa kilkadziesiat minut, spaceruje się po korytarzu na jednym poziomie. Ciekawe doświadcznie, warto zwiedzić. Niestety, do zwiedzania udostępniona jest jedynie niewielka część kopalni.

Škoda že nebylo možné využít průvodcovské služby. Celý areál hradu a věží byl pečlivě zrekonstruován, nádherní varhany v kostele.

Музей интересным образом показывает как работали древные шахтеры в этом городе, добывая золото. Конечно это не настоящая атмосфера реальной шахты, но даст идею человеку, который в таких местах не бывал. Особо интересное для детей, в целом стоит увидеть.
