I read about this place on Tripadvisor in planning our Adriatic cruise. We found not too much to see in Koper so ended up at the Veneziana earlier in the day than expected. We hesitated going in because there were no other customers but we are so glad we did. The manager was excellent and very welcoming. The local white wine he recommended was delicious and was accompanied by potato chips and fabulous cheese. When we went for our second bottle, we asked for more substantial food. This place is not a restaurant but he provided us with yummy bread, deli meats, and local cheese. We couldn't be happier with the experience. All at a very reasonable price.

Just happened to walk past this Restaurant / bar on our way back to the ship (very close to where ship was docked). Manager was so pleasant and helpful and speaks good English. Suggested first local beer to quench our thirst, served with some crisps. Then we decided to try a cool glass of local white wine which was very fresh on a warm day. All for about 5 euro each. Also has good free wifi. Nice music playing, cool,comfortable and modern. Lovely !

Very near to the city centre and sea terminal we found a nice wine & coffe bar, a mixture of venetian architecture and modern style. When we visited the place they had over 170 wine labels from the Trieste gulf. Good live music, excellent snacks made of local delicatessen and nice staff.

The wine bar Veneziana is excellent for wine lovers, they have a lot of different wine makers from Slovenian Istra and few from Goriska Brda. You have to try Malvazija, an excellent white, dry wine. For beer lovers they have beers from all around Europe (also slovenian beer). And if you are hungry they make you fresh sandwiches and cold cuts with prosciutto and chees!
