The hall has perfect acustics sound, located at Götaplatsen near other museums and shooping streets. We listen to the wienna filharmonic on a concert and it was a wonderful experience.

This hall has great acoustics makes a concert extra special…also the all wood design is worth seeing. Has been used for many recordings.

'Konserthuset' (House of concerts) is the home stage of GSO, the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra. Its located at 'Götaplatsen' together with the city theatre and two art museums. Not much of the ouside but the larger of the two concert rooms has one of the world's best concert acoustics. The orchestra is by many regarded one of the finest in Scandinavia. A must if you like classical music

The architecture may be a bit massive but the sound quality fully deserves its reputation. The fruity, intense quality of the Göteborgs symfoniker sound is really enhanced with the perfect balance of warmth and accuracy. You can treat yourself with carrot cakes and coffee during intermissions.

Viewed and enjoyed a show by "Malena Ernman" and I can only say, if you have the chance to see a show of this outstanding Swedish Opera singer, don't miss it. You will not be dissapointed !!!

We were 17 people having three course dinner before the concert. I must admit I was positively surprised how good food they have and how nice atmosphere in restaurant is. I expected average food and typical "must have a restaurant in concert house" atmosphere but we were served fine dining food by professionals in intimate atmosphere. On top of that concert was absolutely great. The only minus was long queue in ladies restroom.

The place was very well organized and it was classic and beautiful. They also served drinks and snacks outside which was a good idea. If you found your performer having any shows while your in Gothenburg, do not hesitate to go to this place.

Not only the sculpture outside, but the hall is beautiful as well. A must see. The walk there is picturesque, lots of places to eat and drink nearby.

To hear the wonderful Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra here is a great experience: the acoustic is near perfect. The hall is entirely lined with light-coloured wood and so is easy on the eys as it is on the ears. If the orchestra is playing, don't miss a chance to visit!

This orchestra is regularly rated among the best in Europe and it deserves to so be. Ever since Volvo started to sponsor it (many years back) it has climbed i quality. It is strange that such a small town with half a million people can enjoy classical music at the level performed here and that it is sustainable. They have managed o recruit great conductors, very good management which probably made it endure in quality. Unfortunately the orchestra lost the fantastic capacity they had in the young venezuelan maestro Gustavo Dudamel who was there for many years, but they have kept up despite loosing him to LA.

Nuff said! The orchestra is absolutely amazing. You have to experience it to believe it!

Hier sind die Göteborger Symphoniker zu Hause aber es gibt auch ein Teil Gastspiele. Sehr zu empfehlen. Interessantes Ambiente, tolle Aukustik! Liegt am Götaplatsen der das Ende der Prachtstraße Kungsportavenynen bildet.

Por fuera y por dentro es un edificio imponente en la ciudad. Lo conocí durante un eventeo académico, un lugar amplio y confortable, en el exterior se realizaban conciertos al aire libre: magníficos. Muy buena experiencia

Отличный зал с хорошей акустикой. Звук льется ровно и красиво по всему залу. В буфете вкусно, но "кусаче". Да, и гардеробы во всех таких местах платные. Если Вы в шубе, выбирайте, заплатить или сидеть в шубе. И еще момент, который немного омрачал или портил впечатление. Шведы кашляют и чихают, как нигде в других странах. В зале вместе с музыкой постоянно раздается "ааапчхи" и "гхыхыгхы". Видимо, климат там такой. Это немного раздражает. Особенно, когда ты слушаешь сольный концерт известного пианиста и в момент "piano" ты не слышишь инструмента совсем.

Foi maravilhoso o concerto... Acústica perfeita... Assim dá gosto em ouvir uma ópera... Quero voltar mais vezes...
