The museum was very small but worth a short visit. When we arrived the staff had to go turn the light on in the exhibit. It was a great way to learn some of the history about the native culture of the area.
This museum consists of two and a half rooms of exhibition of sammi culture, clothes and a few photographs along with explanatory texts in English and Swedish. Whereas it is interesting to find out something about the Sammi culture it still comes short to being a real museum. Entrance fee is 20kr per person.
This is a small but informative museum that has authentic displays. Details are written in a range of languages and explain various aspects of Sami culture. Very low entry cost, well worth a short visit.
If you like history as my husband and I do, you will find this little museum has some very interesting info on the Sami people. We spent an hour or so here.
It's a little hard to find and quite small, but it gives you an insight into Saami history and culture.
This museum is exceptional and gives a detailed background of the history and folklore of Lapland. I was fascinated by the midnight sun in Kiruna.
A small but very interesting museum, with some helpful notes in English. Costumes and attracts are of high quality.
Museum is intimate, exhibitions are interesting, well organised with lots of info on Sami. Notes in English are well translated. Room to sit and books with extra info to read while you wait for your partner. Photo's allowed.
Er du interessert i samisk kultur så er her mye forskjellig å finne her.
