Firstly I'd like to say Iv been twice now. 2nd time we paid for m16 upgrades which we're amazing! And the paint grenades are boss. But that's where the good stuff ends! I had a groupon which gave the choice of pasta or pizza, I chose pizza, no mention of extra cost for pizza until we got there and I was told id lost my deposit to pay for food. On top of that the guns kept jamming/leaking gas, everything on site is VERY expensive with even a simple drink costing a small fortune and the marshals are all kids! On top of this, when I complained about the deposit I was offered a voucher to get 10 people in another day. A further £25 was taken from my account and I am yet to receive the voucher. All in all, it is what you make of it and I can't deny it's good fun once you actually get onto the range, but, for my supposedly free groupon weekend we spent in total... £325 for a group of 8 and we had to leave early as we ran out of money. Also if you call to book, I dealt with Liam. He made promise after promise but never comes through. He has clever word play to scam extra money from you, like in my case.
Went to this pig sty that weekend there, and it's an absolute joke sat about most of the day, the so called Marshall's are just 17/18 year old boys on a power trip trying to shout the odds, one Marshall was so aggressive to a customer,it started a fight, prices are a complete joke, guns kept breaking,HOPELESS THE WEE BOY MARSHALLS AND THE MAIN MAN GRANT WAS ON THE SAME LEVEL SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN OR AL PHONE THE POLICE. ... The dominos was brilliant but
Thanks for the review. Look out for some exciting news on our Glasgow venue coming soon. We've listened to the reviewers and have some major developments on that score. Just so you know we have a deal with Dominoes Pizza, which you can get for just £7 at the venue. And very tasty they are indeed.
Buy £7 of paintballs for an 8x markup. Sure I appreciate they have to make money but my entire group spent the entire time trying to be as frugal with their rounds as possible. This doesn't make for a fun experience when all players are doing the same. On average firing 100 balls a game means 800 total = £110 just on paint.Regardless I had a good time despite shelling out £65 overall for 650 paintballs and 8 games. However due to the price I wouldn't go again.
Went today with 15 kids at the Kirkintilloch site. The site is derelict and filthy. After nearly two hours in the freezing wing, the games started... The balls are spent within the first game, so had to buy more at £55 (yes, fifty five!) a bag! Lunch was pot noodle... they should be shut down... mind you, they'll go bust soon.
We're very clear to charities on what they are getting with these vouchers. We provide them with a script that we ask them to read. Unfortunately, sometimes this gets missed in the excitement of an auction. Just o be clear however, The package that you're getting wit this voucher is worth up to £30 per person. So it's no a bad deal at all. Lastly, we take our charity donations very seriously and over the last 10 years we've generated a six figure sum for charities in Scotland.
Since the reviews below there seem to have been changes at Bedlam Paintballing. We had new masks but yes the guns jammed a bit. Removing your mask was severely punished and rules were well enforced. A groupon voucher and calling to preorder paintballs saves more money. Lunch was only a pot noodle but its what I expected as I only paid 3 quid. Also better toilet facilities would be nice. All together a good day out.
Words cannot describe how let down I was from the entire experience with this company - the equipment smelt and was damp/mouldy, the guns wouldn't fire, the staff were rude and abusive and the food made me ill. I genuinely cannot believe that this mob are allowed to continue trading - I've played paintball on and off for years and this is by far the worst experience. I attended the venue for a stag-do and we left after two games because we'd simply had enough. Don't get me wrong, I love paintball and I'll play again, but never again with Bedlam. Do yourself a favour and do some research before deciding where to play - there are lots of decent companies in Scotland (some MUCH better than others) and down in the North and I'm sure my next game will be better than this.Worst of all I complained on the day and they didn't seem bothered. One unhappy customer.
masks were disgusting, the guns kept jamming up lunch was rubbish the helpers just ignored you when you wanted to surrender. people were walking about without their googles and stuff on and people were shooting their guns at all times. there was no head protection
On Saturday 3rd November, myself accompanied by six friends,(it should have been nine, but we had some people wimp out), turned up at bedlam Glasgow for what turned out to be one of the best days out, I have ever had, and belive me at 45 years old, I have had lots of days out. The staff were friendly, knowledgable and very profesional, the ensured that we all obeyed the rules without ruining the enjoyment. It is safe to say that for the first time in years I felt truly alive, and needless to say I will be back. I fully recommend that people get some balls(paint) and cry havoc and let slip the dogs of war. GO BEDLAM!!!
