In the corridor between the main shopping street in historic Haarlem, and a church, sits Galerie De Gang (= Corridor). It is a small space, and hosts temporary photo exhibits.We saw LAK (= hair spray), a series of portraits of drag queens, honoring the wig maker John Schravenmaker, by photographer Jan van Breda. Another of his series was juxtaposed across from the huge portraits, showing a large number of b/w portraits he made of celebrities for newspaper Parool. Entrance is free, and through the next door shop/restaurant.

Onderdeel van Jansje, de winkel in de Grote Houtstraat en de Doopsgezinde gemeente. Jansje is leuk. De kerk biedt onderdak aan de uitvoeringen van het Haarlems Bachensemble en de gang aan wisselende foto exposities.
