The Paseo is long and enjoyable. My boys enjoyed running up and down the paseo and the surrounding views. Pop into the beach at any point to get relax. There are always bikes and people running up and down so be careful. If you're in Almeria and wish to have a quiet walk, here's your place!
Good mix of restaurants bars and shops. The Christmas lights were up and made it really magical. The indoor market is just off the paseo and is well worth checking out.
We took a relaxing walk along the paseo on a Sunday evening. Lots of locals and tourists were enjoying the scenery and shops and restaurants along the walk. A few vendors set up shop along the walk. Also took in a beautiful sunset.
My wife and I travelled to Almeria for a day out from Huercla Overa. The town was pleasant and there were some nice parks but it was a shame none of the water features were turned on. If you're close by then it's worth a visit but given the choice again I wouldn't drive an hour to get there.
The paseo is really nice, with bar, restaurants and shops. You can go to enjoy the beach or for a run/walk.Lots of people practicing sports. Safe and clean!
Paseo de Almeria has about 2km. It's perfect to run in the end of the day or early in the morning. ( It was really hot on June)There are several bars / restaurants along the way.Nice views!
all over Almeria they have some wonderful water features - cooling and enjoyable - also a lot of shade and very interesting topiary in the streets.
There was every shop you could think of in this main street. In particular, shoe shops and clothing stores. You can amble about quite happily, and then stop to people watch in one of the numerous cafes.
Nice walk along pedestrianized prom - great to just sit in one of the tapas bars in the sun and watch the world go by. Walked the whole length, watched the parasurfers and generally chilled
Lovely paseo, stretches for 15km. good to walk/run sunbathe. Not a lot to see or do otherwise. It's very flat, bicycles available to hire. Probably the best way to traverse its entirety
The avenue is tree lined on either side, which is great in the heat. There are lots of shops like Zara, Mango, which have excellent sales in July and August. There are lots of tapas bars, banks and restaurants on the avenue. Unfortunately on a Sunday there is virtually nothing open.
I'd only recommend this Paseo (promenade) if you want a drink or some ice cream (some great ice cream places) but a lovely way to spend a relaxing evening
One of the beautiful places of Almeria.I enjoyed a long walks during the day or watching the sunset. They serve good tapas in restaurant along the paseo and i enjoyed also nice breakfast and lunch in many restaurants. At the end of the beach i bayed some souvenirs from kiosks.I visited Almeria for 3 years and every day of my stay in here i loved to walk by paseo.
like most spanish cities a lovely ramblas ,only a short stroll from where our ship docked ,and tourist bus can be caught here to take you up to the castle beware not open everyday
Unfortunately there's nothing much to see or shop around the Paseo, which was disappointing having taken a long bus ride from Barcelo Cabo de Gata hotel to the city centre. Siesta also means that you'll have nothing to do in the afternoon when the shops close.
