We met Scott and re pleased to say this is our one stop shop for Coffee and pastries plus they have other things to look at if you are interested in antiques.

Porter's is not your typical "mountain junk shop;" it is head and shoulders above. In addition to a wonderful selection of quality, reasonably priced antiques, collectibles, local art and gifts, Porter's is a great meeting spot. Grab a coffee drink, shake, or a snack, sink into a comfy chair, and visit with friends or use the free Wi-Fi. Owned and operated by a local family, the service is friendly and efficient. Porter's is a must when you visit the NE Georgia mountains!

Had a wonderful cappuccino while looking at some really cool local arts. Free WIFI and great atmosphere. Wonderful place to take a breather and soak up the mountains.

Porter's is two stops in one. First, get a coffee drink. My favorite is a rocket shake, followed closely by a cappuccino. They have tables and comfy chairs to enjoy your drink and free wi-fi. If you've been to NE Georgia, you will know this isn't too common in this part of the world. The owners and their son, who work the front counter, are super laid back and really nice. They also have pastries and baked goods from local bakers in the area. After a nice snack and a drink, walk around the main floor and look at the booths. There are antique booths and crafts and tons of what-not to look at and buy. I have purchased everything from Star Wars cups to old National Geographic videos to hand made coasters. If you need a fun place and you enjoy antiques and coffee, go to Porter's. Don't forget to get a rocket shake.

Great place to grab a coffee drink on the go or hang out for a while. The owners could not be nicer!
