Interesting and beautiful...take the kids and plan a tour. The surrounding lake is full of awesome beauty, parks, picnic areas, and the Corp of Engineers office is also an educational visit. Lucky to have this facility in our area.

This is a great place to walk, ride a bike or run. We even take card board boxes and slide down the hills as if they were snow covered. There is a small playground for children and picnic tables with grills available too. There is also an open area for frisbee or football or soccer. When the water is up you can even take a dip in the cove. Great way to spend an afternoon.
