rocktown trail

We came from Ohio to boulder in Rocktown and it was totally worth it. So many roofs and overhanging climbs that you can't even try them all in one day. The trail is easy to walk and the boulders are fairly easy to find. Highly recommend for anyone who is into bouldering! The drive up to the parking lot can be a little intimidating, but it is totally worth it!

We were staying in this area during the federal government shut down that prevented us from exploring some of our original destinations. This gem was discovered by my husband and became the highlight of our trip. We enjoyed the rugged topography, so different from our part of Florida that we spent hours climbing and exploring the trail. We returned another day to explore the other trails along the mountain.
