stonebridge golf course

When friends told us of this golf course in Rome, Ga., we did not know what to expect.We found fairly wide fairways... yet a challenging layout with many elevation variations.The spectacular ninth hole was incredible....a big drive close to the lake gave you the option to cut off a bunch of yards....but there is a big risk.The greens have "fun" undulations....and the par threes are unique.Big course....very dollar friendly.It is about an hour out of Atlanta but worth the drive.

Stonebridge is one of the best public courses in the area. It is in excellent condition and the greens are tournament ready.

Nice fairways and garden landscaping. Thigh light fees make it a great father-son ride. Liked the trounds and course. Disliked the clubhouse, because of inactivity.

Stonebridge is the golf course I use to gauge other courses. While Stonebridge is not the best course in the country it is one of the nicest courses I've played on. Twilight is normally 20-25 dollars with a cart and is in my affordable range.

Stonebridge is a public course that rivals most private country clubs. The greens are in excellent condition and the fairways are always beautifully maintained. The 9th hole is one of the most challenging in the area.

Came as a visitor. Rented clubs. Great time! Beautiful, challenging course. Players friendly and accommodating to newbies like myself. Get ready to lose some balls getting over the water!!
