Ok, this is a FREE event every Saturday night (rain or shine) from the first Saturday in April to the last Saturday in October. You will need to bring your chair to set in. The music is provided by a ad hoc group of banjo's, guitars, mandolins, fiddle, bass, and accordion. They players drive in from NC, SC, and GA. They come and play due to their passion! They do not get paid but play after they eat their dinner.Speaking of dinner. If you get there at 6pm you can stand in line and serve yourself a hotdog with all the toppings. The Chief of Police actually cooks the hotdogs! Last night they also had chicken dumplings to eat. They only ask that you place a donation in the "jar". The Mayor told me they have always raised more then what it costs to feed everyone. You will find millionaires to the less fortunate there for a evening of music. You will find ages from 1 yr. olds to 90 tear olds. The children play, adults talk, good humor for all! You will not find a more wholesome experience on a Saturday night then right there at the Tallulah Falls Opry House that has 17 years of great Bluegrass music!
