wheatfields lake

Very beautiful lake and surrounding area. Not much into fishing but made me feel like trying. A great area to relax and picnic. The scenery around the lake and wildlife is spectacular.

Boyfriend is a local in the area if we had nothing to do on weekends we always load up our tents and fishing gear. this place is amazing i always love coming up here on a hot summer day since its a few degrees cooler plus its a great place to camp out :)

Great place to fish, busy on the weekends though. The area surrounding Wheatfields Lake is absolutely awesome. Very pretty drive from either Window Rock or Tsaile.

Nice lake to go fishing and spend the afternoon. Breathtaking scenery. Still place needs more trash pick up.

Living on the Navajo Reservation, I'm probably more excited by lakes than most tourists would be. If you're on your way to Chaco from Canyon de Chelly, it would be nice to stop and visit the lake. I've been there in the winter and a had a blast sliding around on the ice and wishing I had my skates.
