alto vineyards and winery

It rained all afternoon and Alto still had the Amazing Band of Candy Foster playing inside a nice building :) DELISH wine and a variety of cheeses(Blueberry Cheese is my FAVE), sausage and crackers too!

I am not a wine drinker so I can't vouch for the product but my wino friends said they were tasty.But I can comment on the hospitality and location and it has to be one of the prettiest spots in southern Illinois. The staff was super friendly and knowledgable about the history and product.

This was my first stop on the wine trail and I was not disappointed! The gentleman was very knowledgeable on the wines and even explained the history of the town! Wine was excellent! Would highly recommend!!!

My family and I came here to watch a local band play. We really enjoyed our visit. They have a gorgeous outdoor area for entertainment.
