It's not as country as it use to be, but it is about 200 yards wide by 1 mile deep with plenty of picnic benches, shade, and walking area. The very back is a parking lot with access to the Kishwaukee River... VERY shallow most of the summer (only inches deep).

This location was great to put in for tubing, kayaking or canoeing. At a bend in the river. You can pull your vehicle up to load or unload. Lots of parking. Restrooms, picnic area and kept clean.

A perfect place to easily put in on the Kishwaukee River. You can drive your vehicle on the grass to unload, and if your concluding your trip its a convenient place to end.The water levels of the Kish during summer, in this portion, can be extremely low, so watch the rain/weather. This is a party river, and if you want the company of many upbeat young party people as you float down the water, then you're in the right place. If your a fisherman, the stretch from here to the next couple of stops are average- depends on the water levels.
