Steve, the wine maker, is a great guy! He came to our little table and visited with us like we were old friends. The wine is great and every so often we get an email from the winery telling us of events not only at the winery, but in the Shawnee area

If you are within striking distance off I-24, slip over to Hogg Hollow for a pleasant off-the-beaten-path experience. Great wine, friendly service, and a relaxed atmosphere. They also carry non-alcoholic grape juice (delicious!), an assortment of home canned goods, and a small collection of local artisan crafts. On your way, you can stop by the Chocolate Factory on Hwy 146, and/or Barnett's Furniture factory outlet on Hwy 145, just down road (south) from the turnoff to Hogg Hollow. Contact them in advance about special events associated with deer hunting season, the Sustainable Living Expo, and more. Always a great time. Love the Hog Wild sweet red wine and their sangria in season. Many more alternatives for wine lovers. Check it out!

We enjoy the atmosphere and the wines at Hogg Hollow. Go there whenever we are in the area...Good company....good wine. Just a great place to stop in, have a glass of wine and relax.
