We had such a fun time at Blaum Brothers! The tour was very informative and intriguing. Thank you so much to the kind gentleman that lead the tour...his name escapes me right now. He was very thorough in his descriptions of all liquors and the processes that happen in distillation. It is very apparent that there is a love and passion for what is going on the the distillery. We will be sending business and interested friends your way!

The tour was well worth it. It's great to support Galena businesses. This one is very new and deserving some support. Our tour guide was very interesting and taught us a lot.

My husband and I did the tour on Saturday. I believe Ted is who gave it. He was amazing very informative and hilarious. You can tell he loves his job! We will definitely be coming back with a group of friends so they can have the same great experience we had. Totally worth 5 *****

One of Galena's newest attractions, but it's already a huge hit. Now we know why. Ted, our tour guide, greeted us warmly when we arrived and invited us to grab a drink to take on the tour. Cocktails in hand, he then led us on a 40 minute tour through the small distillery that was equal parts informative and funny. His enthusiatic explanation of the distilling process from start to finish was great. Then, we ended the tour with samples of the finished products. There's a great bar and lounge where you can linger afterwards and of course a retail shop where you can take home your favorite(s). We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and highly recommend it. If you like gin, vodka or moonshine you will not be disappointed. They haven't been around long enough to have their own whiskey yet, but you can see the barrels where it's aging. We'll definitely be back for the release.

Excellent visit here with my girlfriend, we did the tour & taste with Dennis. Great vibes in the bar area. Full tour was very informative, interesting, and fun. Enjoyed the booze as well!

I have never been on a tour of any brewery or distillery before and I quickly get bored with long stories. This tour was quite conversational and humorous. Dennis was an amazing host from the moment we walked in the doors to when we left.We had some time before the tour to try out some drinks, which Dennis said we could bring with us on the tour. I had an amazing Hot Hot Chocolate with Hellfyre in it and sampled some of my friend's drinks. All of them were pretty phenomenal.He had plenty of interesting facts, and not just about that particular distillery either. Overall I was very impressed and highly recommend the tour as well as the liquor.

If you like Moonshiners, you'll love Braum Brothers. This is how you make the moonshine. The vodka was very smooth. Can't wait to try the bourbon in a few years. S-M-O-O-T-H-E

We stopped by Blaum Bros. on our Distillery & Wine Tour in Galena. We got a tour of the distillery which was great and then we got to do a tasting after the tour was over. There is a full bar as well, so we were able to enjoy a cocktail during the distillery tour. I did not think I liked gin until I tasted Blaum Bros. gin which was excellent! We even took a bottle home. If you are in the area, check them out!

First time visit to a distillery and Dennis provided a comprehensive explanation of all things moonshine, gin and vodka. Will certainly be back when the bourbon is released.

We really enjoyed our 45-minute tour with Dennis! We had never been on a distillery tour before, and we learned and laughed a lot. We enjoyed grabbing a drink to bring along on the tour, loved tasting the vodka, gin, and moonshine. Can't wait to come back when their bourbon is ready to go!

Looked forward to visiting the distillery on our second trip to Galena this week. We stumbled upon them last January and had a drink an impromptu tour and bought a bottle of vodka. This year we were better planned and took the official tour--very interesting, just long enough, and ended with a tasting! Bought a bottle of gin to add to collection and looking forward to future years with bourbon offerings. My first recommendation to anyone visiting Galena.

Blaum Brothers Distillery is a neat place to visit. My husband and I were in Galena for an extended weekend and we made a stop there all 3 days we were in town. It is great for before dinner cocktail, after dinner cocktail or and afternoon pick me up. The bar is comfortable and welcoming. The tour was also great, very informative. It was great to see a local Distillery and experience the craft.

My boyfriend and I made a special weekend trip to visit Blaum Bros. My guy has been getting more and more interested in how his favorite liquors (specifically gin) are made, so this was a great way to get him an inside-view. We had never tried Blaum Bros. prior to our visit since it is not yet distributed in our area.The location is easy to find, the building has great history, and the decor is wonderful. We loved the over-sized leather chairs in the bar and all of the movie references. When you open the menu and immediately spot a quote from "Serenity" you know you are dealing with awesome people.The tour was fun and relaxed and very informative. It's impressive what the brothers have accomplished in such a short time. The only disappointment in the whole visit was the gin itself. Trust me, it's quite good. It just didn't really seem like gin given the nearly-imperceptible juniper. Gin is one of our favorite liquors, in part due to the juniper and pepper notes, so we both missed that with the Blaum Bros. recipe. However, their gin does have a surprising warmth not often found in clear liquors, and the cocktails we tried were quite good.We definitely recommend you stop by Blaum Bros. if you are in the Galena area!

6 of us took this tour this past weekend, we all really enjoyed it! Informative and fun with clear explanations of how the process works. Not to mention tasting some delicious gin and vodka!
