casselberry golf club

We played there a lot 9 holes for 15$ with cart on weekdays. We had a few lessons with Gary and he is great, learned a lot from him.

It's a nice little par 69 neighborhood course. Nothing fancy, but there are some par 3's where you'd better be able to hit 165 straight as a rifle shot, or you are in trouble. There is only 1 par 5 hole, but the rest of the place will make you work a bit. Not terribly senic and no wildlife but squirrels, but I have always enjoyed my time there

Played today with my 8 year old son. Love the rate and that they let juniors play free with a paying adult. And I was ready to overlook a lot and play golf. But the course is just too unkempt. Only a few fairways looked like a golf course, most of them looked like fields that had been mowed. I'm not a great golfer but usually I can recover alright from bad shots. Not here. Even shots in the fairways had bad lies due to weeds, etc.I realized it was cheap and I wasn't expecting a resort course, but this was pretty bad. There are really nice courses just a few miles away that are the same price or close after 3 and there are others that give similar value for around the same price.

Casselberry is a course for the recreational golfer who is willing to forego the fancy trimmings that you get at some semi-private and private clubs. The course is fairly simple, about 5500 yards from the tips. It's a great beginners and retirees course. They have a special right now of $625 a year for a walking weekday membership. If you want to ride, it's $9 more per round; that's cheaper than a day at the local driving range and you get to keep score. .

This ain't pebble and it ain't a cow pasture-it's a great deal-the greens are in good shape-the layout is a little weird-but so what-forget those other reviews-it's fun-we liked it

One of the worst courses ever to play on. Greens very small. Unkempt. No fairways to speak of. Sprinklers go on during the day while you are playing! Very sandy tee boxes. Poor drainage. Not challenging and par 4's are driveable.

The price was very reasonable, but the greens were a little rough and some of the holes played pretty straight with little in the way of challenging obstacles.
