I have played most all of the upscale courses in the Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and Orlando areas. I would rate this course right up there with the best of them. Excellent layout and very scenic. Challenging yet surprisingly scoreable. Plenty of wide fairways and beautiful bunkers and water holes. Book the twilight rate to save money. Definitely will be playing here again. It's top notch.

Florida is replete with golf courses. Almost all of them feature a flat terrain with lots of water and Plantation Preserve is no exception. But, the greens were very consistent, and the course was attractively laid out. Fairways are cut pretty short, but I suppose that is normal for winter in Florida. The staff was friendly and helpful. But, the thing that separates it from the competition is one of the most sophisticated in cart GPS systems I have ever seen. Since this course serves a lot of tourist unfamiliar with the course, the GPS makes it much more user friendly.

This is a great course that has matured beautifully since it was reopened years ago. The staff is friendly the carts have gps. The restaurant and bar are also great. So for a round at a local course this is the place.

I enjoyed playing this course because it was a challenge for a novice golfer. My family also enjoyed a delicious Easter buffet for the last few years. The price was good and the food was plentiful.

Heavily played course, but in great shape. Course is designed around a nature preserve, very nice. This is just a really good course, one of the better deals available.

I've played this course off and on for 3 years. I don't play often but it is very well maintained with a fantastic restaurant and pro shop. The staff have always been friendly. The carts have GPS but also will turn off if you drive into an area where the cart is not supposed to be. Then its a hassle to figure out which way to drive to keep the cart from cutting out on you.

I love the open fairways and the course is almost always in excellent shape. It is a bit pricey especially if you are not a Plantation resident. Decent driving range and large putting green. The food is very good too!

I've played this coarse 3 time and it amazes me how pretty it is... And the shape it's maintained. The fairways are fairly wide open, just enough water hole to piss you off. Greens are fairly challenging...and the traps have real sand (not rocks). Wait time is the only issue...but not too bad

I played this course both in November and April. For a public course it is in excellent condition although last month, getting towards the end of the season, it was a little more worn than it had been in November.The course and greens are well laid out and extremely challenging - the back nine from the back tees is very testing.The staff are pleasant and helpful - the only criticism is the pace of play. They have course marshals but as long as the games stay within a 4.5 hour time frame they do nothing. There is nothing more aggravating than being in a group of good and quick golfers and having to wait for total hackers to finish. They are obviously entitled to be on the course but should be encouraged to let faster players play through!!In the UK our concept of how long a round of golf should take is somewhat different!!!

Plantation Preserve has friendly staff and the golf course is always in great shape. Try to get an early tee time as the course is always busy.

Today I attempted to play Plantation Preserve, it was my second time at this golf course. The first time out I found the course very average, very busy and the staff there slow and rude. But because I have heard others enjoy this course I decdided to give it another try. Fast forward, I didn't even get to play. I'm not going to give a blow by blow of my experience but a lot of it was similar to my first time. Only person at check-in that also was answering the phones that were ringing off the hook. The starter seemed that the last place on earth he wanted to be was there. I remembred him from last time & I dont understand why he doesn't stay home or at least why the course wouldn't do something about it. Snow birds are leaving in a couple weeks, it's residents like us that will make these placed survive next 6-7 months. In the end, he couldn't even read his chicken scratch on the starter sheet, jumped over me and let others pass, 30 minutes after what my start time was, he couldn't figure out how to get me on even though it was his mistake, no apology...I had to go back to the pro-shp, lucky me, ask for a refund and leave. Wasted afternoon. There are a ton of golf courses in South Florida. Jacaranda for example I think are very profressional and efficient, golf course a lot better maintained. Emerald Hills have excellent service and the course is one of my favorite, very challenging and well maintained. Plantation is now permanently off my short list.

Greens were terrific as were the fairways. The staff is courteous. And that 19th hole is so good and reasonably priced.

Terrific layout, lots of opportunities for risk and reward shots, helpful and knowledgeable staff, and perfect course conditions. One of the best tracks in southern Broward County.

If you are looking for a great South Florida Golf course look no further that the Plantation Preserve Golf Course and Club. From the moment you are greeted by the bag staff and the staff in the pro shop you will have a great experience. The golf course layout is great with always superior course conditions. GPS on the carts make the course always friendly, even for the first time visitor. You will find yourself deep in a natural wetlands area with great wildlife sightings almost assured! This is a public course that feels like a private county club!

Paspalum fairways are amazing, greens were a little slow yesterday, tees impeccable. Food was fine, service excellent. Pro shop staff a bit aloof for a public venue...need more enthusiasm and a smile please...a must play when in the area..
