island girl cigar bar

OK, I get it, cigar bars and smoking not very popular? Could be but I'm not the Surgeon General. I'll tell you this, this place is awesome. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the bartenders/hostesses are great. It is not a smoky bar at all. There is a sweet smell of fine cigars in the air but pleasantly so. it is very laid back and the entertainment is excellent and in keeping with the island theme. it is very well decorated with couches and very tasteful and not all all what you may imagine. I actually avoided going into the bar for several weeks but decided to visit there this week. I had drinks only and they were great. Not overpowering and had a very smooth taste. The bartenders at Island Girl were all girls (who would have guessed?) and they were all very friendly, attractive and attentive. The patrons were an older crowd and not all noisy. They listened quietly to the music and applauded in appreciation. I'm definitely hooked and will make this cigar bar my "hangout". I give it five stars and if you go to Ruth Chris, Pusser's or Medura for dinner this is a great place to go to have a drink, talk and hangout without people yelling and loud music. A WINNER in the center of Ponte Vedra's social night life. YEAH!

I was very impressed with this cigar bar. They had a great selection of cigars, a large selection of beers and coctails, plenty of leather chairs, room at the bar, or outside on a patio! This is the perfect place for a business drink, watch a game, hang out with the guys or yes...take a date. Every city should have a place like this.

Island Girl, just what I was looking for, This was not a loud sports bar, Can't stand loud drunks. Very nice bar and sitting area. I liked that the customers were not wearing shorts, tank tops, and flip flops.

If your looking for a place to grab a drink and wind down in Ponte Vedra, then this is it. This is a large place and has seating either at the bar or in comfortable lounge areas set up throughout, which contain couches and chairs. There are plenty of tvs so that you can catch sports action while you relax. This is not your typical smoky bar either. There is plenty of air filtration and its really never packed so you are not overwhelmed with cigar and cigarettes. For those that do smoke there is a nice selection of cigars to choose from. Its a great location to meet up with a few friends, grab a corner, and relax. Its never loud so you can actually hold comfortable conversations without overpowering noise. Service is always good too.

While on vacation, my friend told me I had to stop by the IGCB after a round of golf. He was not mistaken... IGCB is a large establishment with at least a dozen leather couches providing very comfortable seating. A large bar occupies the center, and serves a wide variety of beer and spirits. The walls are dominated by flat screen televisions, displaying a myriad of different sporting events. The humidor is off to the side, providing a reasonably priced selection of cigars that should satisfy most connoisseurs. The ventilation was excellent, and the staff was more than courteous. Close to TPC Sawgrass, the Island Girl Cigar Bar is a must stop for those who like to stretch out after a good round of golf. I easily spent 2 hours watching football, and quickly determined that this was the best cigar bar I have ever visited. If you’re sick of the cramped, smoke filled places that seem abundant, give IGCB a shot for a higher-end experience without a big hit to the wallet…
