john's island club - west course

Just a great Fazio course from tees to greens. Fair but fast greens. Play to the front of the green - run up to the pin.

Unlike the other golf courses in this area, JI's West Course is filled with humps and bumps and uphill and downhill tees and lies. Putting on these greens is difficult and much fun. The course is always in good shape and is always a treat to play.

Private golf club. You can get reciprocal usage if you have your club contact John's Island. Golf course is a very nice tract.

One of the most beautiful places Ive seen in Florida, but it makes no sense to be on this trip advisory. Its an elite private club, not open to the public. (I work there)

This is one of the most beautiful golf courses, and is part of a private club - John's Island Club. The clubhouse was recently remodeled and offers even better views of the course than before. JI's West Course has been one of the highest ranked golf courses in the state for years.

If you got bucks, join the club and eat at one of their several restaurants. Not fun, but its where the heavies go to be seen.
