estey organ museum

As the owner of a vintage Estey Organ, it was a must to get to Brattleboro and visit the museum.The managing director, Philip Stimmel, a very dedicated and enthusiastic musician, took great pains to tell us the history of the company and demonstrated many of the vintage pieces they have from many periods.I was privileged to be able to play a couple also,A superb afternoon and well worth travelling many thousands of miles to get there....( well, we did go to other places too!!)

We had friends visiting who own an Estey organ. We called the museum and they made arrangements to open for us to see it. Not only did we receive the joy of seeing the organs but the man who opened for us also played them. Highly recommend a visit.
