samuel de champlain statue

I don't really think of this statue as a destination, but I guess if you are touring the hill section in Burlington, it's worth a stop. Champlain College is a beautiful campus in the hill section and has many old Victorian houses for dorms.

This statue sits on the campus of Champlain College.It is not the typical explorer kind of statue as a figure with a out stretched sword or flag. Instead he is kneeling and looking through a periscope towards Lake Champlain.It is a interesting piece of art.

This statue is in the center of Champlain College's campus in the hill district of downtown Burlington.
