cbcb bar & grill

Went here last night with a group of 15 year old soccer players and parents. Our group just about filled the place up! Only two wait staff working even though they knew the large group was coming at 5:30. With that being said, the two people working worked HARD and we didn't have to wait long to order our drinks. I ordered the deluxe Philly cheese steak at the suggestion of the waitress. She was spot on. Just delicious! Didn't come with fries or any other side which is odd however didn't really need them. Sandwich was very filling. Still, usually fries come with sandwiches at most places. My husband got the mushroom Swiss burger which was the special. His DID come with fries--go figure!! His burger was also really good. Food gets a high rating! As I mentioned, we were a large group. The food came out really quick. Kudos to the cook! We were there to watch the USA play Portugal in the World Cup. There were several TV's but none were very big. This would be an awesome place to watch a game since the food is great and service is excellent. Larger TV's will put CBCB Bar and Grill in a better position to call itself a sports bar and grill. If you are going just to eat a good, casual meal, you won't be disappointed. If you are looking for a sports bar with large high definition TV's, this place isn't there yet. Simple fix for them, though. I'm optimistic they will do it.
