bgsu planetarium

I've attended quite a few programs at the planetarium, and I must stay, it is a must see for anybody with interest in space. The first time I went was to receive credit for a class, and during the tour we were introduced to the roof-top telescope, which was quite impressive. I've been back a few times for their different showings about topics astronomy, many very interesting, others were definitely a bit dated. The one thing that is a must see is the Planetarium's dome and star projector, being able to see the constellations so clearly was a very memorable experience for me.

The BGSU Planetarium is a good experience and they have different shows that you can go to see! If you want something simple and educational this is a good place for you to go. It is only a suggested donation to see a show to.

This is one of the best kept secrets on the BGSU campus. They put on monthly shows that are well done and free to the public. We make donations which they do accept. Children will love it. Adults will love it. I find the schedule out through the university but don't know if there is a website or not. The shows are different every month and have a variety of interesting themes. Whether you are buy yourself or with a family, you can find this interesting.

I have always loved planetariums anyway and I was thrilled to find there was one in my home town that I could go to for free, if necessary, or for a voluntary donation. Because it belongs to the University, I know many people involved with it, including the man (now retired) mostly responsible for its presence in our town in the first place! It is the BEST place I know of for just kicking back and forgetting your daily worries for a couple of hours --- and getting out into space and lost among the stars....Besides which, they do many fascinating programmes about the planet itself. This place is a MUST!
