Very peaceful, usually quite and lots of water birds and other wildlife. A great place to visit to just get away from it all for a short time.

The number of great blue heron nests in the trees is most impressive. The walkways are clean and easy. Love it.

Not only are the ponds beautiful, but you can get wonderful photos of sunsets. Trail is easy to walk. Watch the Metro Park Program brochure for activities.

Our son has been begging us to keep taking him here since his first trip 2 years ago. It is the perfect setting for him and others like him to practice their bird calls. He has a small collection of duck and bird calls and this is the best place we have found for him to really get to practice. the ducks actually begin gathering as he uses his call.

Very pretty. Great trails for walking, riding, running. Love the scenery. Love taking the dogs here.
