A great place to just sit and look at the creek, have a picnic with your family, walk, ride your bike, take a hike, fish - just enjoy nature. There are lots of picnic tables, they have porta-john type bathroom facilities and its free for your enjoyment.

Wonderful place to stroll in peace & quiet. Excellent place to take pictures - especially in the fall. Great pioneer village that is still standing. Clean & clear: Little Beaver Creek - has Ohio's largest population of Hellbender Salamander. This is a little slice of heaven in an UNEXPECTED AREA. Make a day of it to explore the area. There were people riding horses there too!

It is a nice park, with plenty to do, lots of hiking trails, horse trails, old locks to explore. Kayaking and canoeing as well (went kayaking 7 or 8 times over the summer.

The buildings were as if we'd steped back in history , especially "Gaston's Mill" , the way of life , as it was , in the beauty of the mountains. Walking the country side, onlong the pathways, so relaxing.

I go to this park about once a week. It has a great historical village, old locks can be found up and down the creek, one is restored in the village. The trails need attention, some of them have fallen into disrepair. That said, I love hiking the trails, kayaking the creek, fishing and looking for wildflowers in the spring. There is hunting in some parts of the park in season. I have seen eagles on several occasions and photographed them across the creek from the historical village. I saw one flying overhead last week.

This park contains remnants of the Sandy and Beaver Canal, awesome history ! The park also has a blacksmith shop, schoolhouse, church and fully operational flour mill that was built in 1837. The scenery alone is cause to visit.

People seem to take care of keeping it clean. Many local outdoor events (like craft shows) happen here. We just like to walk through the park in the Fall, especially.

I live in Southern California, so the landscape with all the trees and water are a lovely novelty for me. Beautiful campground including two teepees! Lovely for hikes, camping and just driving around. Little bats live behind the nature education center sign, which we found quite charming. Perhaps theirs is subliminal learning. If you're in the area, it's well worth a visit.

Took my grown son, 6 yr old granddaughter and two golden retrievers. We all went wading in the creek and had so much fun. The dogs enjoyed it too. My son found a crayfish to show my grandaughter. We then walked around and looked at the old buildings and played at a little park. Heard about nice hiking trails and friends take their horses to the horse trails. Very nice day trip.

Located off Route 7, south of Rogers, OH, the Park offers some nice , but short walking trails in a very prety setting. The restored building are also a pleasant tour.

This is a wonderful State Park. I use the equestrian trails and find the park very diverse in flora and fauna. You'll usually see deer anytime you're out. Lots of canoers and kayakers. Hikers and bicyclers use these trails frequently also. The trail system is constantly improving.

Our family had a reunion there, our church seniors met there for a picnic and we toured the mill. What a quiet and relaxing place. Viewing the creek was just great. Don't forget to STOP BY!!

This park is a very nice place to spend your day. There are separate places to enjoy yourself. In the picnic area there are rows of mature pine trees that were planted after the depression. The is an operating grist mill and examples of early settlement with a school/cabin/etc. They are maintained by volunteers. On special days, you can buy flour made at the mill. There are hiking/horse trails and a designated wild river. There is also primitive camping available. The main drawback is the lack of modern plumbing and every parks ' wild geese ' problem. Watch where you walk around the mill pond.

This park is well maintained, yet natural. Whether you come for a special event like Pioneer Days, or just to wander among the trees, it's a step back from the noise and pollution of our everyday lives.
