A great place only a 10 minute drive from the hotel that offer a wide arrangement of activites for all but also a very large play ground area

Staying at Elyria Hampton Inn nearby and asked for place to run. 5 min drive and what a nice surprise. Beautiful, well maintained, follows a river. Wow.

Almost 6 miles of bike and hike trail along the Black River, forest and field habitat. Don't forget to head north all the way, crossing 31st Street to the Steel Mill Trail for two miles through the slag fields and across the Black River - amazing views.

The area is pretty but is subject to the black river and nature and floods out frequently after heavy storms.

If you are interested in a well rounded day out and like hiking/walking, nature watching, shows/activities with the family the BRR has something for you.

Ok if you are bored and need some different scenery.

Fantastic place to walk, bike ride or roller blade and be with nature and your own thoughts. Lovely and diverse scenery. Great bird watching.

Loved the wide paths, bridges, winding paths. The changing scenary really makes it a unique and wonderful journey.

Another part of our park system.This one is west of cleveland and not as populated as Rocky River res.
