the winery at otter creek

When you pull up to The Winery at Otter Creek, you immediately think you are under dressed.... but the instant you open the door, it feels like your right at home (and even the old golden retriever greets you when you walk in). Once inside, belly up to the bar to get a taste of their one or more of their 11 different types of wine. Once you have made up your mind, either order a glass or bottle of wine and make yourself comfy at the bar, a table inside the winery or at a table outside overlooking the pond. Heck, you could bring a blank to sit on in the grass too. Something unique about the winery is that you can bring your own food or order pizza from a local pizza joint. On some Friday or Saturday nights there might be a food truck or entertainment. On the date my husband and I visited, there was not any scheduled entertainment, but there happened to have been a patron visiting that played the piano and tickled the ivories while we were there with songs like Hang on Sloopy, Brown Eyed Girl and the Piano Man. The winery has delicious wine and fair prices. If you have children and wonder if you should bring them, there were other kids in different age ranges at our visit.
