squirrel's den

A childhood favorite place of mine. Enjoy a walk downtown and through the Carousel District, and end your afternoon on a sweet note! Very clean, old-timey candy store. Dark, milk and white chocolates to suite everyone. The perfect gift--for a friend, or yourself!

Stopped in this quaint chocolate shop in downtown Mansfield and, wow!, what an amazing and delicious selection to choose from! So many homemade chocolates... we walked out with three boxes full! Loved every one of them!! Looking forward to a return trip.

We go out to eat often at a Greek restaurant right beside The Squirrel's Den and when the kids were little, we always went over afterwards to get a small bag of hand-dipped chocolates. It is such a quaint store and the proprietors are so nice, you just fall in love with the place. To this day, even though the kids are grown, my wife and I continue the tradition of getting Greek and going to the Squirrel's Den for dessert. The prices are right, the candy is handmade and incredible, and the people are just downright friendly.If you have not been, you owe it to yourself to check out the Squirrel's Den!

Our family stopped by the Squirrel's Den after a visit to the Carousel in Mansfield. The chocolates were so delicious! I am very picky about chocolate and rarely eat it, but I ended up eating so many of their wonderful chocolates. Everyone in my family loved it.It is an easy walk from the Carousel.I will definitely be back. Would make a great place to get a gift.The owner was so friendly and she mentioned she does tours for scout groups, etc.

My husband and I visited this cute little chocolate shop when we were in the Mansfield area visiting family. The two ladies that were in the store the first day we went there were very nice and friendly. They make a lot of their chocolate items right there in the store and we got to watch them as they worked. They also have flavored popcorn and fudge. Their pumpkin pie fudge is amazing! We enjoyed all of the chocolates we purchased and even made a second trip back to get more before we left the area to come back home.
